FAQs
It is not recommended to reuse the decomposable pads more than once. This is because they have only been scientifically tested to be effective for one use, therefore we cannot confirm that multiple usage would support effective treatment.
For the first 3 weeks - the "Activation phase" - you stimulate for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. This kicks off the treatment by activating the neural networks that are less active in people with depression.
For the next 7 weeks - the "Strengthening phase" - you stimulate for 30 minutes a day, 2 days a week. This supports the progress you've made in the activation phase, preventing future episodes of depressive symptoms.
After 10 weeks you can choose to reset the program and return to 5 stimulations a week. If you'd like to increase your stimulations earlier, you can connect to a clinician through the app who can help you with this.
Some users prefer to add saline solution to their pads to add extra moisture for additional comfort.
